Journalists in Schools is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information of users of this Site. All of the data and information we collect through our Site is used only to help us achieve our organization’s goals. With regard to personal information, it is our policy to collect and store only personal information that our Site’s users knowingly provide. Journalists in Schools uses your personal information for the general purpose of fulfilling your request to volunteer, donate, or receive an e-mail newsletter. We do not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people, organizations, or companies, except to facilitate your donation.
You may refuse any future communications from us by sending a contact form with the word “remove” in the subject line.

This information is used to help us evaluate how the Site is used, to facilitate the use of the Site, to analyze user interests, and for system-administration purposes.

Welcome to the Journalists in Schools website. Journalists in Schools is a non-profit organization that mentors New York City high school students to produce journalism that is published on websites and in print. We manage these publications in partnership with participating public schools.

This document provides the Terms and Conditions for your use of the Journalists in Schools website. By using this Site you agree to be legally bound by and comply with them.  If you are under eighteen, then you and your parent or legal guardian acting on your behalf are deemed to have consented to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions set forth here, please do not use this website.

Protecting your privacy is important to us.  By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are also consenting to the terms of our Privacy Policy.  Please review our policy.

All information submitted to this Site for purposes of making a financial donation will be kept strictly confidential.
